Hartley's Helmet Dive Question

We were told to contact them upon arrival in Bermuda to see what the weather was going to be like for the next few days. You may find a more direct answer to that question and almost anything else you can think of answered on their website. http://www.hartleybermuda.com/ However, with most water activities in Bermuda we were told to show up and see as the rain comes and goes in sporatic areas and just because it is raining where we are at any one moment does not mean it will be raining where we are going to be in 30 minutes. We are scheduled for the helmet dive when in Bermuda the week of 6/14.

Except for the topside smoking area, the rest of the boat is covered. We were there last week with just a touch of rain but very windy and boat was rocking! There is glass on the sides so that would keep the wind and rain out - except a few people were suffering from mal de mer and they kept some of the glass open.

Everyone went down for the Helmet Dive - really great especially if you wear glasses like me and want to see what a coral reef looks like up close!Greg Hartley really runs a great excursion!

Since everyone wears a wetsuit if the water is cold, you shouldn't feel awkward - everybody looks a little funny but if the temp is cold, you will appreciate it. You are down under the water for 20-25 minutes and there is nothing to warm you up!

the wetsuits are dipped in soapy water between wearing(you keep your swimsuit on) and there is plenty of hot water to pour over you to warm you up when you come up top!

Does anyone know where the dive site is? Looks like this excursion must be sold out/booked through our cruise because it's not listed anymore. Wondering about the possiblity of booking directly with them. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
