Hi This will be our first cruise and have just a couple of questions have yet to bottom out.

  • Electrical sockets and voltage - Can anyone tell me if I need an adaptor or is the ship fitted with standard 13A plugs - also voltage of supply - thinking of laptop?
  • Is wireless link for internet free or is there a charge?
  • Have been told certain evenings are semi-formal now, in line with other P&O ships, in addition to formal nights? Can anyone give me a heads up on this?
  • Anyone on the cruise want to chat pre-cruise please get in touch stephenfairmaner@hotmail.co.uk

Thanks

Steve

Just returned from 14 days on the Oceana

There is 1 UK 3 point plug in your cabin 110 volts and will charge/operate battery/laptop

Wireless link only in the Cyber Lounge and there is a charge 50p 10 minutes

Semi Formal was polo shirts and trousers for the most part.

Oceana dropped semi-formals last year but I believe that due to popular demand they are back on again. At the Portunis party on Aurora recently, the captain announced this was the case and a few passengers were rude enough to shout "BOO!!!!"

PS I like semi formals and don't like to see polo shirts being worn on that nights
