Blackbeards Cay

We went to Blackbeards several years ago to snorkel and lay out on the beach. The rays were penned on the left hand side of the dock, and the beach to swim was on the right. Personally I would skip the rays and just go to the beach if that was an option, but that's just me. But if you are really into rays, go for it. I believe you are on the island the same amount of time as the swimming only, the water where the rays are is shallow, and you wade out into them(shuffle out into them) they were not very large. We did love Blackbeards though, and was surprised to not see this offered as an excurison through Carnival anymore.
