Hotwire 3* FLL hotels

On hotwire there is 3* hotel for $62 per room/night under the category "Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood Int Airport". Anyone know what hotel that might be? Includes a/p shuttle and comp breakfast. Any guesses on how far to the airport and to the cruise port?

 

2.5* for $59 - "Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood Int Airport". Guesses on hotel?

 

2* for $44 - "Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood Int Airport" Guesses on hotel?

 

2* for $49 - "Las Olas-Downtown-Port Everglades Guesses on hotel?

 

We usually book 3* "Las Olas-Downtown-Port Everglades" and get the Hyatt North which we really like. Close to Publix and restaurants. It is at $265 now.

 

We can wait and usually book one month before departure but just curious about the other locations.

 

We will have 4 kids with us (age 6, 6, 4 and 2) and want to be in a safe area where we can walk to restaurants and to a drugstore or place like Publix to purchase our wine and sodas before boarding. We'll be there by lunch time so we don't need lots of activities, just a nice restaurant for dinner and a place to buy our drinks. Thanks.

I purchased this hotel last week from Hotwire, but the price was $59, and it is Springhill Suites by Marriot. I don't know the exact distance to ports, but it is closer to the airport than the cruise port.

If you go to betterbidding.com and locate the list for their Florida/ftl hotels, you'll be able to figure out the hotels by their amenitites.

 

Look at the Hyatt Place hotels too.

Depending on your dates needed.......you may be able to get Hyatt Place North cheaper than that. We booked through Expedia and got alot better deal. The price through the Hyatt website for our date in September was $89.00 non-refundable. or $109.00 per night. We got a better deal than that since we did a package with our airfare. I think we paid $129 inclusive for 2 nights.

Won't be going to FLL until Sept. Most of the reviews are positive.
