How much time at Xcaret ?

I am looking at the Carnival excursion to Xcaret, from Cozumel. It involves a ferry ride then a bus to the park. How many hours do you get at the park?

The excursion description says the fee you pay ($89) covers some of the attractions - --? which ones.

Is it easier to do this trip from Calica? We are looking at a cruise on Elation on 9th August which goes into Calica, but it is over $200 more than the Aug 14th Cruise which goes to Cozumel and Progreso.

You'll get at least 90 minutes more at Xcaret by going from Calica.

Okay, thanks. I figured you would lose a couple of hours doing the transfer by ferry and bus...

Do you know if you get a choice of times to return, or does everyone stay the whole day...?

From Cozumel it is a 45 minute ferry ride and a 20 minute bus ride to the park. We were there from 11:30 to 3:30, actually a little longer because we had 2 get back late to the bus. Great park but you can't see it all in 4 hours. Would go back again though.
