Was it coincidence that just minutes after Netherlands beat Brazil in the quarter finals, the Veendam starting blowing its' horn? Perfect timing. Likely just the norm as she prepares to depart Hamilton but it was fun to hear it from our office. A nice salute to the Netherlands victory!

Ahh yes the sudden loud horn that made all of the Lido deck leap ten feet into the air. I heard it was because several people were late getting back to the ship. Although the idea that it was a celebration is much more exciting.
