ciship Posted July 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2010 Just booked these two cabins on the Legend. Will they open up the balcony divider between the two cabins? My Carnival PVP said they won't allow it on the Spirit class. Is this true? Also, for anyone who has had these cabins or close by, is there a laundry room in this area? Thanks! goldenk Posted July 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2010 Was just on The Legend, cabin 8233. My neighbor had her divider opened. BTW, great location, close to the stairs that the coffee is atop of, and the pizza bar & Lido cafe.
ChefSusan Posted July 2, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2010 Great cabin location (aft pool is right above you!), and yes, they will open the balcony divider between the two cabins. Have someone from each cabin go to Guest Services as soon as you get on board, and ask that they open the divider. Laundry will be around the middle of the floor, and Guest Services will make change for you (3.00 per washer/dryer). Bring your own laundry detergent/dryer sheets - the ones that they have on board are horrible!

Our last Carnival cruise the coffee was like water, but the only "real" coffee that we had to purchase was far forward on the ship. Do they have a "starbucks" kind of place AFT now?? I told my PVP that we always have the dividers opened up on the balcony, but he insisted that the Spirit class will not allow it.......soooooooo, I sure hope you guys are right:) Thanks for the info! I usually take my own detergent packets and dryer sheets, but I read somewhere that you can get them "all in one" now......does anyone know where to get those? I've looked at Walmart but didnt see anything??
iowagirl411 Posted July 2, 2010 #7 Share Posted July 2, 2010 No laundry on deck 8 on the Legend. Down 1 deck toward the middle on the other side of the ship!

flapr Posted July 3, 2010 #9 Share Posted July 3, 2010 From Carnival: Spirit Class (SP PR LE MI) Stateroom Descriptions - Panorama Deck Launderette: There is no Launderette on Panorama Deck 8. Balcony Partitions The balcony partition panel can be opened and secured in place against the balcony rail with the use of hardware. By doing so, the view is partially blocked. The required hardware is limited on each ship and is on a "first come, first serve" basis. Due to safety reasons, the following partitions cannot be opened: 8266/8268; 8268/8270; 8270/8272; 8272/8277; 8277/8275; 8275/8273; 8273/8271. No Starbucks type on the AFT, just between the Casino & Follies Lounge on deck 2 & one in the center of the ship on Lido that is only opened during the day. Not sure of the hours. But was empty alot. Any coffee helps me get started ;) It wasn't that bad really. But, like at home, no comparisons to coffee shop.
