Podie Posted July 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2010 I'm trying to decide if I need to bring some hangers. Anyone have any recollection about how many are in the closet?
chive Posted July 29, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2010 Your room steward will bring you as many hangars as you need. Just ask.
Happy Cruiser 6143 Posted July 29, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2010 They'll generally be cheap wire hangers, though (the extra hangers). I always bring some plastic ones and leave them behind. You can buy 10 for $1 at Target.
FinelyCruising Posted July 29, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2010 There are so many wooden hangers in the closet you will be asking for cabin steward to clear them out of your way. We normally bring all our hanging clothes on hangers. We unzip and hang and we are done. The closets have the smaller diameter poles and the wooden hangers are able to be removed easily as the circular part that hangs over the bar is a smaller one so that the hangers cannot be used in an ordinary home closet, but all regular hangers from home will fit on the bars in the stateroom closets. They do not have those wooden hangers with those linear pegs that fit into a slot on a tab on the hanging bar that you have to fight with.

Thank goodness for that! Those kinds of hangers should be tossed overboard. Must be new with the S class ships, M & C class have those dumb slot ones. labeachcomber Posted July 30, 2010 #6 Share Posted July 30, 2010 There were probably about 20 wooden hangers in our Equinox closet. Half of them had the metal "clips" attached to a metal bar that were useful for hanging swimsuits or women's clothing. The other half were the standard wooden hangers.
