Destiny Deluxe cabins

Recommended Posts

Our first cruise and we are sailing on Destiny end September and have booked a Deluxe Cabin on deck 7, 7012. Has anyone been in this cabin, not sure how restricted the view will be. We do not have the AI and know that tea/coffee is free from the Lido, can you also get free cold drinks here (orange juice, etc.) or do you have to pay? Thinking of going on the 'Rome in a Day' trip, is lunch included in the price? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

We are on the Destiny departing 25/09.

Cruised before on Destiny, now listen do not want to put a dampner on your first cruise but there are lifeboats on that deck.

The Thomson web site shows them and does say there are restricted views from some De Luxe cabins on deck 7.

But quite honestly the cabin will be pretty good compared to standard cabins and even if the view is a bit restricted, it's a 7 day cruise and I can assure you you will not spend much time looking out of your window. You find most people just stroll on to the deck and watch the world go by if they want to chill out.

In fact we never book an outside cabin always inside, but we can stand having no light some folk can not.

We always go AI when we go with Thomson so sorry not sure about soft drinks.

I think the Thomson web site tells you what is included on the Trips.

Our first cruise was on the Destiny and it was great, we went with friends who showed us the ropes as you say.

We went to Rome for 4 days 2 years ago so that day we will have the ship to ourselves I think as we laze around the pool.

Have a good one.:)
