meet and mingle

Our roll call has finally hit the magic number of 25! our ship departs Rome / Civat. at 6pm - what can we expect as far as the "Meet and Mingle" - will it be that evening? in what venue? Thanks for any info!

Usually it will be the day after you sail and held in the library next to the 2 specialty restaurants.You will enjoy it since just about all the senior officers will attend, and the savories and drinks flow freely.

It seems that Az always has parties for CC - even when they don't reach the magic number. It has been said by several folks on the threads and the reviews.

We board on Oct 22nd

Our 2nd day Oct 23rd we will be in Amalfi as a tender port the entire day.

The day that would make the most sense is our 3rd day on Oct 24th because this is a sea day.

Everyone will be more rested and the crew isn't dealing with tender operations.

On 3 cruises with Azamara, 2 M&M were held in the Looking glass and 1 in the library - I guess it all depends on how many people are invited.

 

Our last one was on Embarkation Day at 6 pm!! Our first sea day was on day 3 so I guess they thought it was too late? And we had a second party on our last day at sea - day before debarkation.

 

Drinks are served along with hors d'oeuvres, and it's a really nice way of meeting the staff and officers along with your CC fellow cruisers! Of all the cruise line, I find Azamara has the nicest parties, regardless of how many people register!

never would have imagined that, just doesn't seem practical

Well, if it's on the 1st day..

we won't make it...as that just doesnt work for us...

oh well

BTW, Marie Claude thanks for the nail info..just returned today from my cruise and still working my way through all my emails
