Aussie Gal Posted February 10, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2005 Julie, Thanks for the link. They are wonderful photos. I definitely want to see the lake and the German village in Puerto Montt after seeing those photos. Jennie
juliejoe Posted February 10, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted February 10, 2005 Hi Jennie, They really are terrific pictures. I hope we have beautiful blue skies in Puerto Montt like they did! We too want to be sure to see the falls, the lake and doesn't the German village look charming. Julie
Aussie Gal Posted February 11, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 11, 2005 Julie, Time is going very slowly. It still seems months away. I will send you an email in a couple of days time and fill you in on our F.F. seats. Jennie
Toots Posted February 11, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 11, 2005 Great link. We can only hope for such blue skies in Puerto Montt on our 2/26 cruise. If you check out "Orient Lines" on the message board, there's a photo from the Marco Polo with snow on deck. Brrrrr (I live in Florida). We need good luck with the weather! lynwar Posted February 26, 2005 #7 Share Posted February 26, 2005 This was a great review. We have friends who live in Punta del Este Uruguay and on a farm 2 hours from there. I believe they will be on the cruise leaving Buenos Aires, maybe on March 26, returning March 6? Final destination is Valpraiso, Chile. I'm not so sure I'd like to be on a 43,000 ton ship! These same friends took us on our first cruise on the Sun Princess in 1998 and that was 77,000 tons. I thought that was big. My husband and I have graduated to the Caribbean Princess after the other Grand Class-up around 115,000 tons! This looks like it would be a terrific and educational cruise!
