Oasis Arcade - quarters, tokens or what?

Silly question but I know my son will probably spend consideral time in the arcade. What does he need, quarters or does he have to buy tokens?

He buys a certain amount in $ and it's placed on his sea pass.

 

This almost makes it too easy for them to spend, spend, spend.

 

We give our kids a total amount for the week. If they choose to use in one day, fine. Or choose to split it daily, fine too. Any more than that it will be paid from their own pockets.
