Serenade wi-fi

Does the Serenade have ship-wide wifi or do you have to go to a hot spot to surf the web? I have a hump cabin on deck 7, so that is the area that I'm specifically interested in. I'm trying to decide whether to bring my laptop on the cruise or just go to the internet cafe. If I can't get a signal in my cabin, there's no use in bringing the laptop.

You have to go to hotspots, not available in your cabin. And the hotspots were not so hot either. Internet wasn't very good at all on the Serenade when we were there. We ended up using the CL computer.

The strongest wi-fi is in the centrium, any floor, but it's based in the middle of the ship.
