Just off Epic (Aug 14-21)

Just off the Epic, Eastern Caribbean sailing. Had a GREAT time. So many wonderful things to say about this ship and I'll write a full review later this week. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer.

We were on the Western leg just prior to your cruise. The ship was experiencing all kinds of audio problems -- even to the extent that they had to cancel a Blue Man Show and Cirque. The Blue Man show we saw had to cut the finale because of electrical problems. The announcements at poolside were sometimes cutting out also. Most of the time, soft serve wasn't available (I was happier with the hard ice cream anyway) and one of the ice tea machines at poolside was out of order all week.

Pretty much everything was working as far as I saw. I think the ice cream machines were working everytime I went by and both of the poolside tea machines worked. There was an issue with the water slides one day where the purple and green were closed for a while. I think this was Monday (sea day) and part of Tuesday (until about 2pm).

 

There was also some kind of flood that caused water to spill down from deck 7 to 5 by the casino atrium. Not sure exactly what happened with that though.

 

Some announcements got cut off (but that was ok since I think they made WAY TOO MANY of those anyway); but nothing impacted the shows that I know of.
