anyone done Boca Chica as excursion?

We'll be doing Santo Domingo on the Grand in Oct. and was wondering if anyone has done Boca Chica as a beach/ shopping run~~There doesn't seem to be much info at all in the ports section~~We've pretty much done all of colonial S.D. and are looking for alternatives``Thanx

We did not do that one but went here.

It was amazing. Not sure if they will offer this excursion to La Romana which is east of Santo Domingo

I haven't been there on a tour but stayed there once on vacation. It can be a rough place. It would definitely be better on a tour. Nice beach though. Not sure about the shopping.
