rental car shuttle to pier - san diego

does anyone know if there are shuttles to the pier from the rental car return at san diego airport? We are coming in 2 days early for our cruise and will be getting a rental car. In miami we took the car back to the rental car return at the airport and took a shuttle bus back to the pier (provided free by the rental car company)

The pier is very close to the airport, perhaps 5 miles, so a taxi will probably be your best bet. This Web site might help you.
