Water Taxi, Luggage & Questions

We're thinking of spending our last remaining hours in Florida riding the water taxi and shopping. Our flight doesn't leave until 5:30pm. So, my questions are:

1.What can we do with our luggage for the day?

2. How do we get to the water taxi?

3. Will stores be open on Sunday for shopping?

4. How do we get from the water taxi to the airport...by cab?

We going to do the same things. We will be in Ft. Lauderdale on Easter Sunday will the Water Taxi be operating?

EVERYTHING is open on Sunday in Fort Lauderdale. The best idea would be to rent a car for the day, otherwise you're going to have to carry your luggage with you everywhere you go.
