cmptrwiz Posted February 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2005 Compliments of Cruise news Dailey: Following the successful nationally-covered effort by a man to sell advertising on his forehead, there are now a number of copycats attempting to do the same thing on E-Bay, and pay for their next cruise. The individuals are offering cruise-related firms the opportunity to advertise on their foreheads or to wear logo merchandise during their next cruise. Don't you look forward to sitting down to dinner and having some guy sitting at your table with an ad for Pepto-Bismol on his forehead? Just another idea! Guest Time2gocruzn Posted February 14, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2005 I saw on the news that a pregnant woman auctioned off advertising space on her PG belly on e bay. She got in the thousands of dollars from a casino and has to wear the advertisement until the baby is born. Crazy:rolleyes: :D . Says she is going to put it away for college. Flip2cruise Posted February 14, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2005 There is a casino, I think Golden Palace?? That has advertising on the backs of boxers, during their matches. At times during endzone shots you will see the same casino website listed on the chest of a fan. I cant see this on a cruise, unless its a man or woman with an incredible body prancing back and forth on the lido and topless deck for the entire cruise.:D Plus after they get the money what assurance does the company have that the person wont just ditch the merchandise or wear a headband :D I can see the Capers, "no forehead advertisements allowed on formal night"
derf5585 Posted February 14, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2005 Reminds me of a joke about low cost cruises I see a ad for a cruise for 5 dollars per person for a cruise. Call up and found out you have to work for six hours a day. Derfette and I say how bad could it be. So we signed up. We got to the ship and were given oars. We rowed for 6 hours, slept for 8, so we had 10 hours to enjoy the ship. And of course we didn't have to row on port days. It wasn't so bad and we got in great shape. On the last night I asked Derfette "How much should we tip the drummer"?
