  Cruising on Grand 2/26 and altho have cruised out of Galveston before, different line. Princess tells us we have two choices on piers 25 & 27, which can you advise is easiest etc. Seems odd to me that we can utilize 2 piers for one ship for boarding. also what about parking?? They are reccommending Bubba's? last cruise out of there we went to small lot for Carnival, was a piece of cake, this sounds confusing. Advice appreciated.

Thnx, Judith jabrigzz@houston.rr.com

You may want to consider EZ Cruise Parking.

We used them for our 1/22 Galaxy cruise and they provided excellent service. The drivers, and other employees, were very friendly and helpful. Located just a couple blocks from the entrance to the cruise terminals. Less expensive than the official port parking lots and even less expensive if you book online.

If the Carnival Ecstasy is in port with you when you leave (which I believe it will be for you - it's there every other Saturday and it was in Galveston on 2/12), you'll leave Galveston from Terminal 2, and arrive in Galveston in Terminal 1. If it's not in port with you when you leave, you'll leave Galveston from Terminal 1, and arrive back at Terminal 2.

EZ is within walking distance of Terminal 2. I used them in December and highly recommend them for parking as well. It's only $40 for 7 dats if you prepay on their website, drive-up rate is $45.

We just returned from the Feb. 5-12 sailing of the Grand. We used EZ Cruise Parking, and would highly recommend them. Not only is it less expensive, but the service was very good. You are also able to park and transfer your luggage with you on their shuttles. It is the way to go!
