Is Celebrity leaving Baltimore for good?

Does anyone know if Celebrity has any plans to replace the

Mercury sailing out of Baltimore ? I, for one, certainly hope so.

I don't know how their market has been, but being from Northern

Virginia, it works for me.

With the Century now going downunder not sure there are any ships still in the fleet that can sail out of here with the low(?) clearance on several of the bridges any ship will have to pass under. Does not look to good for us here in the MD. area.

The Baltimore cruise market has been phenomenal. I'm with you when you say you certainly hope Celebrity stays in Baltimore, but if I'm correct, unless the Century comes here, I don't think any other Celebrity ships will fit under the 2 bridges. I live about 7 miles from the cruise terminal, so I feel your pain. :(

 

I'm looking at the Silhouette out of Bayonne. If Entertainment Tours provides bus service, great. If not, we'll probably Amtrak it to Newark with the last option being driving. ;)
