Did anyone else notice that the junior suites for this cruise are currently priced below the outside stateroom and balcony staterooms?

 

It's a bit different here in the UK to the US - we don't often get the chance to price match etc because of the terms and conditions of our booking process - however in this case we did spot that the prices had gone down and so we contacted our TA who (because of their 'relationship with RCI') managed to get us an upgrade to a Junior Suite (from a balcony) for £2 each, which we thought was a bit of a bargain :D

 

Unfortunately the same could not be done on our trip on the Equinox later in the year - the price of Concierge Cabins is now currently less than what we paid for a balcony, but they wont shift - we did think about canceling and re-booking and even loosing the deposit (which would still be about the same) but in the end we just decided to go with what we booked. You pay your money, and you take your choice ...

My partner and I will also be on this 4 nighter...just back from a 9 night on MSC and felt we needed to experience something a little better again quickly so booked it up! Gotta make use of those Diamond benefits somehow :).

Congrats on getting to Diamond. We were almost there with these cruises, but then RC changed its Crown and Anchor policies so it will take us a little bit longer.

Ah....the dreaded being Emerald class suddenly. We timed our last Caribbean cruise perfectly just to get into Diamond before all the changes....phew!

Sounds like there will be a fair few of us on board which is kewl. :p

Met some fab people before so fingers crossed for this one!

Not long to go now...am sure some are already on board doing BtB's. Just quick jaunt for us to escape the Royal Wedding weekend!

With just about a week now before we sail, we are quite excited about this cruise and are looking forward to meeting you all.

 

Is there any interest in getting FODs together during sailaway? Any suggestions on whether to gather?

We (Noel and I) would love to meet up with everyone and grab a drink, although during sail away might leave us delayed a bit. Taking my parents on their first cruise and I suspect they will be bounding about like children during sail away and will need to look after them for a bit ;):p!!! Sure we can get away after a while though as good to meet up before an FOD gathering after late dinner?! Via the casino of course!!
