snoozy Posted October 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2010 Hi everyone, I'm picking my in-laws up by car tomorrow morning from their transatlantic voyage. Does anyone know which dock I need to go to? I will be travelling from Nottingham on my own first thing in the morning, and I'm a bit nervous about finding the right place. I have sailed three times from Southampton, but to be honest, my husband has driven or we have used a taxi and I've not really taken much notice. Many thanks in advance. William Dean Posted October 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2010 Check on the Southampton Docks site. That is as up to date as it can be, and will show any last moment changes. However, you'll find as you approach the docks area that there will be signage telling you what is where. QM2 is also hard to miss. WD

snoozy Posted October 19, 2010 Author #9 Share Posted October 19, 2010 Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know that the information you kindly gave me yesterday proved very helpful. I got to the QM2 with no problems this morning. When I pulled up at the pick-up point I must admit to feeling a little bit envious of all the lucky people who would be sailing out of Southampton this afternoon. My family had a fantastic first transatlantic from New York, and the 200 mile journey home went quickly, listening to their tales from the ship. Once again, many thanks. Denise :)
