Island Princess March 2006

We are planning to visit Hawaii in March next year and since we are seasoned "Carnival" fans we need help from those that are seasoned "Princess" travelers. Since we want to do round trip it looks like the Island Princess will be the choice. We like a covered balcony with a great view and I understand that not all the mini-suites are. Would appreciate input on favorites from those familiar with this vessel as well as anything else you care to share on likes/dislikes for this ship. On the Carnival ships we stayed a deck or two down from the Lido deck and were never bothered with undo noise, etc. Would the Baja and Caribe decks run along that same line? I'm open to any and all information and since there's not many threads dealing with the Island Princess perhaps others will benefit as well.

There is a thread somewhere in here that lists all the cabins that have uncovered vs. covered balconies on the Coral/Island Princess ships. You should be able to do a search and find that thread. As far as sound goes, you should find that Baja and Caribe are quiet as they are sandwiched between other decks which are passenger decks only.
