San Juan - Christmas Eve

We dock in SJ xmas eve, and stay overnight before flying home xmas day. Can anybody tell me what is open xmas eve day/night, and if taxi's are freely available? Thanks.

I'm afraid you won't find much open on Xmas eve. Stores will be open until about 6 pm, I think, but after that almost everything closes. Hotel restaurants will be open, but probably not freestanding ones. Taxis will be readily available at the dock and at your hotel, but catching one on the street will be difficult. Xmas eve is the main family get-together time, more so than Xmas day itself. HTH!
