NCL Star - 1/1/11 - Panama Canal - 15 nights

Anyone else going on this cruise?

 

We'd like to meet a nice group at the FOD/GLBT meetings on board. The last time we did a longer cruise we had a great group that met in one of the lounges nearly every evening, and even dined as a group a couple times in the specialty restaurants. We had some nice lively conversations about the daily ship board happenings and what we did during the day. It made the long cruise more interesting!

 

I would also like to know if anyone will be doing dinner or anything for New Year's eve the night before the cruise. (We will get in very late the night of Dec 30 and don't have any concrete plans for Dec 31, except to maybe meet up with an acquaintance during the day.)

i (diane) and my daugher(aileen) will be on 1/1/2011 NCL star. do you know what is the best to get to port everglades from port miami? rent a car? taxi? or any good cheap shuttle?

I don't really know. You might want to try the ports of call board for Miami, it's fairly active and you'll probably get a couple suggestions.
