bringing canned beverages on board

What is Princess' policy on bringing canned beverages (soda, beer, red bull) on board the ship? Can you just bring it on in plain sight, or would it be a "smuggle" operation? It's not a big deal, but if they allow it, might as well bring it aboard.

I have heard you can also bring beer on board? I wasn't sure about this. Basically, I'm wondering if we can just carry a case or 6 pack on board or if we should put it in our luggage? Princess doesn't carry my husband's favorite beer and I'd rather not spend $3 for a redbull

Princess's policy prohibits carrying beer onboard. However, they rarely, if ever, enforce this rule. I would put the beer into either your checked or carryon luggage and not carry it openly.

Technically bringing beer onboard violates the Princess policy, in reality this is almost never enforced (just like many other onboard policies). There's no problem bringing energy drinks onboard, they're considered the same as soda.

We always bring a 12 pack of beer on board. We always have a nice bar tab too at the end of our cruise. Plus a nice shopping tab, excursion tab.........we always have a nice tab at the end of our cruise. ;)

They don't sell our beer on the ship, so we always make sure we have some to enjoy in our room.

We also take Diet Dr Pepper on board. They don't sell it and I hate Coke products...

Take your beer and enjoy your cruise.
