Danno Posted April 21, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2004 If you are an Elite Member free wine is now available with dinner. All that you are required to do is purchase an extra outside cabin for Danno and Mrs.Danno along with air and parking and Danno agrees to choose and provide a wonderful wine for each dinner...the final formal night will also include a wonderful Canadian ice wine to enjoy with your dessert. This should prove to be very popular so book early as the Danno's have to arrange vacation from work. CINDON Posted April 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Danno, You obviously are not familiar with the group of cruisers that we cruise with. You would be much better off to pay for your own cruise than to pick up the tab for our wine (LOL). Mercury 9/26/04 Cabo Wabo Party
Danno Posted April 21, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Read closely...I pick the wine and send it to your table. I must insist on this to gaurantee that you have a pleasurable (albeit frugal) wine experience. Danno Posted April 21, 2004 Author #9 Share Posted April 21, 2004 I seem to encounter a problem though...every time I use that cork screw thingy to open a box on wine, the bag leaks!! gardencat Posted April 22, 2004 #14 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Danno Canadian Ice Wine? are you telling me you can buy that on Celebrity? I think I smell a smuggled bottle. When I cruised RCCL in 2003 the head sommelier didn't even know much about ice wine let alone stock it on the ship. Are things that much better on Celebrity? superjerryw Posted April 22, 2004 #17 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Celebrity specifically prohibits passengers from bringing cheap wine on the ship since they cannot charge you you a corkage fee for a bottle that has a screw on top. Danno Posted April 22, 2004 Author #19 Share Posted April 22, 2004 WOW!!! What a response...I already have deposits from 6 folks here. Newt was very generous, I know we'll enjoy the back to back in Europe together, and a SUITE, the Mrs was dumbfounded!! The Mrs. is in the civil service here...this makes 12 weeks vacation booked, she only has 5 weeks remaining so BOOK NOW!!! Just to answer a question that seems to be coming up...NO, I do not expect to be tipped, however if you could help me out a bit with the tips for my cabin steward, waiter etc., it would be helpful.
