Southern Caribbean snorkel

After I did the search and clicked on the post they wouldn't load, so I just thought I ask here for opinions. Can someone tell me out of the Adventure of the Seas Southern Caribbean stops, what is the best one to snorkel at? Thanks for the help if you can :D

Barbados, St Lucia, St. Johns Antigua, St Maarten, St Croix

St. Maarten's snorkeling is one of our least favorite. There aren't too many places there that have even mediocre snorkeling.

 

Eli's Ecotour in Antigua is a great snorkeling/sightseeing excursion.

 

St. Lucia has wonderful snorkeling.

 

Barbados: snorkeling and swimming w/ the turtles is great. (We loved the Silvermoon.)

 

St. Croix, we did Big Beards. Great snorkeling.

 

Hope this helps.

 

Have you checked out the different ports of call boards for these islands? They are a GREAT source of information.

we were on the AOS last week with the same ports of call. In Antigua we went on an Adventure Antigua excursion and they take you to an area where you can snorkel. It was nice and there were lots of fish and corals. I know in St. Croix there should be some good snorkeling as well.

We just returned from St. Croix cruise and did a 1/2 buck island snorkel trip with Big Beard's. I highly recommend them. Very very professional. Great fish. Only problem was that the water was a bit choppy during our snorkel...but this changes from day to day.

Big Beard's took us out to Buck Island, and then to another island for a lunch that was very good. Got to feed a mongoose, too!

St Lucia is great, St Maarten snorkeling is the worst, don't waste your money, go to the beach instead.

 

We did an eco tour kayak snorkel that was very good in Antigua as well.
