Kapuna Posted January 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2011 For POA suites that provide butler service is it possible to order lunch and/or dinner for in-suite dining ? Is there a special menu or is it the same as in the restaurants ? Has anyone tried this ? I know that there is regular room service in all cabins , but that selection is very limited . Thanks for any information .
pensi9 Posted January 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2011 We had an AD suite onPOA in November. For lunch one day we ordered shrimp cocktail and fries from cagneys, chicken wings from cadillac diner, sandwiches from the suite menu and cheescake and a pitcher of tea, I realize it must have seemed strange but we just wanted to have a varity and this was no problem. We also ordered breakfast. If you want something not on the suite menu write it in or tell the butler. For an evening meal you would pay the same charge as if you were going to the specialty restaurant or just order from the main menu. Basically they will bring anything you ask for. Sounds good!:) Do you know if the Lazy J Steakhouse was open for lunch on embarkation day for "suite" passengers?

BTW, nothing beats a long port day than dining ensuite in your freestyle pajamas. Enjoy.
