Can anyone tell me how many hours you planned on having pictures taken? I heard they don't pictures after your reception. It is during and they take the bride and groom away from the reception to get pictures taken around the ship. Does anyone have an ideas how to get pictures done after the guest leave the ship that you don't miss your reception?

Most the time it is hard to take pictures after the reception, due to the timing of the muster drill.

We spoke with our photographer during the reception and asked if we could get another sitting the following day or so. We were told it was 75.00 extra but we set it up and it worked out great. They didn't end up charging us for the extra time.

It may depend on the cruise line. Our wedding was with carnival. The photographer was amazing!

Our ceremony was on the beach (so it may be different from yours) but there were two photographers, one escorted each of us to the beach, stayed through the whole ceremony, took lots of picturs on the beach after the ceremony of both just us and of us with family, then our back on board recepton was right after the ceremony and he was there for the entire 2 hour reception. After the reception he stayed with my husband and I taking us do differnet locations aroudn the ship to get more photos of just the two of us for an additional 45 min or so bc we had an our before hour dinner resservation.

So total, he was with us from 1130am-5pm. And his photo were AMAZING. I wrote a review and attached a link to his photos at the bottom if you are intersted in viewing....he did such an aamzing job!

Congrats and have an amazing time!
