Snorkeling in Belize

First time going to Belize, where is the best place to snorkel and hang out on the beach?

Book a Coral Breeze excursion to Caye Caulker or Bannister Island.

 

Those are your best bets for good snorkeling and beach time as CB will take you to off shore reefs. Or take a water taxi to Caye Caulker. You can snorkel along the Split in Caye Caulker off the beach there, but it's not as good as the reef snorkels. You have to go to the tender pier to catch eithe rof these as they don't come out to thje ship. Ship excursions that focus on snorkeling will usually pick you at the ship and bring you back, but may not have a "beach" stop as you snorkel along the reefs.

There are no beaches in or around Belize City. You will need to book a beach/snorkel tour through your cruise ship or get in touch with a independent company in Belize.
