Vantage Mailings

Thought I'd share info regarding Vantage and the massive amount of mailing they do.

 

On our recent Vantage river cruise, the program manager addressed the "complaints"' regarding massive mail-outs. He explained that Vantage sends mails-outs (of course to stimulate business) as opposed to paying commissions to travel agents or other advertising. He further said that this method has proven to be more cost effective.

 

We get at least 3-4 mailings a week from companies we have never used.

 

So, an answer to the mail issue could be to recycle...let grandkids cut them up...line a bird cage or whatever. (possible even book a trip)

We have the same issue with GCT. We get at least two mailings a week. One a month should be sufficient. They could then cut their prices by whatever they save in printing and mailing fees.
