I was reading the message boards and read that the taxi ride is $40.00 each way to this beach? Is this correct? Is the taxis per person or the length of the trip? Thanks for the information.

It's $10 per person each way if you have a group. The taxi driver will "help" you find more people. $40 may be a minimum if you don't have at least 4 people.

Distance is considerable, so if you don't have a group to share, the price quoted makes sense. We rented a car for around $50 (if my recollection is accurate) from the AVIS at the pier ... something to consider.

Just to confirm, we've paid $10/pp each way ($20/pp round trip) the past couple times we've been there but have gone to the beach with a group from our roll call. I've read on other posts here that people taking a separate cab as a twosome paid $40 each way - $80 round trip.

 

BTW - there usually are not waiting cabs there so you'll have to arrange a ride back with your driver.

Exactly right, we were there last saturday, and the minimum was $40.00 each way or $10.00 each after the first 4 people

It was $20.00 last week for my husband and I each way for a total of $40.00 round trip... Our driver asked when we wanted picked up, we didn't pay hime until back to the ship! Well worth the ride and the money!! That Beach and Snorkling was awesome!! :D
