Anybody out there going on Artemis to Spitzbergen in August?

Got back Sunday late am, (overnighted Gatwick) and been very busy since as much to catch up on as you can imagine. Unfortunately busy this Sat and Sun as Mothers Day and sister and mother coming here Sat with sister here for the day and mother staying over until Sunday so we can do lunch somwhere. Also sister in law calling in to see us on Sat.

 

At the stage where only the photos and camcorder tapes now need attention but unfortunately this means husband using the pc a lot today and probably much of tomorrow also. It also means sitting at the tv looking at the camcorder tapes.

 

I will try to email/post in some detail asap but might be next week.

 

In brief, had a major disaster on the outbound flight and instead of getting to Hong Kong on Sat at 7-30am local time, finally got there ar 5am SUNDAY having diverted via Bangkok!!! This, having left Gatwick at noon FRIDAY. We actually were travelling from Thursday pm as travelled down and overnighted at Gatwick. NIGHTMARE SCENARIO. Still undecided about compensation offer. Apart from that (or should I say despite that!) it was really good and we enjoyed most of it. The 4 weeks passed fairly quickly. Many on board for 4 weeks, and a surprising number for 6 weeks.
