Hello,

Just trying to figure out whether there is even a difference or not. Any suggestions on port or starboard side for a balcony room??? I know its hit or miss on what side you actually dock, but, thought someone might have an idea while coming in or out of port or while sailing whether either side might be better. Thanks for any info.! Cheers

Well, take a look at the itinerary map. Figure out the approximate time of the day the ship will be heading in those directions. Remembering of course that the sun's path of east to west will be slightly in the southern sky. Look up the sunrise and sunset times for the week and voila, you can now decide which side of the ship will give you the desired amount of sun for the most times that you would be using your balcony. Simple, right? :D As far as docking at piers, me thinks it's a 50/50 split as to which side will give you a better view for the day.
