AllmanJoy89 Posted January 22, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2011 I will be cruising on the Sensation the end of March with a group of 10 girlfriends. We are interested in booking spa treatments, however, the pre-booking information only lists a couples massage or the hot stone massage. Please tell me they offer more than these 2 options. I am wanting pricing information and/or suggestions. I plan to take advantage of the spa treatments on port day. Please tell your experiences. We are so excited.:D

Check for deals when you get there.

serene56 Posted January 26, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2011 I suggest you all go to the spa for the tour-- and sign up for their raffle. Go aboue 5 minutes before so your names are on top. They pick more then one...and a lot of names that are called the people are not attending- and you must be present to win. Last cruise I won a seaweed wrap and a 70 minute full well being massage. Total time was 120 minutes and it retails on the ship for $225.00. For me -free.

serene56 Posted March 30, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 30, 2011 How was the wrap? I'm interested in that one. Do they do the raffle at the end of the tour or later that evening? the raffle is usually at 5pm. Very well worth the 15 minutes to do so. - the wrap was phenomenal. The rub you with this seaweed stuff and boy did it make my skin all nice and glowy. (the thero stuff where you lose inches-- dont waste your money you are on a cruise and you will be eating and drinking But note the rooms where the massages are done are not soundproof and you can hear everything on either side of you. I do not know if that is supposed to be like that as it was my first and only.
killingtime Posted March 30, 2011 #7 Share Posted March 30, 2011 My mother & I did the "Spa Topia" on the Sensation & all I can say is OMG! It was fabulous! It included : hand & foot massage, scalp massage, facial, back massage & then the hot stone therapy massage. It was an absolutely delightful hour. I want to say on special it was $139.00 per person. When she told me I was done, I told her it couldn't be & when she left the room so I could get dressed, I got up & looked at my watch (it was with my clothes) to verify it really had been an hour. :o We joked around the rest of the cruise we needed to win enough money in the casino to have the treatment done again!
