Waitlist for Interior Cabin question

Traveling with two children, total four... all interior quads sold out for Alaska in August. Would need Cat I or J. Really dont want to spend more for oceanview or balcony. COuld do waitlist with a refundable deposit. Does that lock in the price or you pay the rate when and if becomes available?

Your TA should be able to tell you with more authority than what you'd get here. You're going to get nowhere if you depend upon the information here - and it is wrong. Saying 'but someone on the CC said.... ' isn't going to hold water.

 

If you're looking at a Vista ship, the square insides are actually larger than oceanview or balcony cabnis. Good luck

As long as you are not committed to pay, you could always back out of the deal if the price is too high. I've always wondered how the waitlist thing worked. Please come back and let us know what answer you get from your TA or HAL.
