Carnival Bamboo Beach Break :(

Guess the below pictures say it all. We booked the bamboo beach day with Carnival and were more than just disappointed! Upon arrival, this beach was really far from what was advertised, just loud DJ music and cute girls dancing. A real mess of beach chairs on the brown sand. The buffet was below any acceptance. We asked for a cab ride back to the ship but were told we need to wait for the tour to return...well, we did not want to catch a taxi on the street as this club is on a private area in no where...so we stayed. See the pics and decide for your own...we still battle the refund.

That first picture ( Food and beverage shack) looks scary! Beach chairs don't even look nicely laid out. Keep battling and keep us posted.

I was there in Nov 2008 and had a very good time.

We did this in 08 and had a blast.... we did DRF first so we missed some of the food, but we went back this past trip and the kids had an absolute fab time! The chairs were all layed out nicely when we got there, however ppl moved them in to the water or in to groups so by the time we left they were messy but it was due to the ppl there not the beach club. We got great service from our guides, who got us anything we wanted,(more food, more drinks) My daughter and I both also got out hair braided there. :) They had a male dancer that was quite entertaining and they danced in groups as well.. they also did a bunch of line dances. It is loud if you sit in the front by the DJ stand, however there were alot of older people sitting there clapping along with the music and having a great time. :) If and when we visit Jamaica again we will visit again. No complaints from us.
