Jenbirds Posted February 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2011 Hello Fellow Cruisers! My DH and I are sailing to the Bahamas via Carnival in April, and reading that cabana rentals are $200. Is it worth the spend? Can you purchase cabanas elsewhere for cheaper rates? Feedback is much appreciated! Jenbirds RC Adventure of the Seas '04 RC Adventure of the Seas '10 Carnival Fascination '11 You can't purchase them cheaper anywhere else. They are controlled by the cruise line. As for "worth" it, read some reviews on here. If it is only two of you, you are looking at $100pp, which is borderline to me.
wrinster22 Posted February 16, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2011 It depends, as said prior they control the prices so you will not get a better deal. They provide longers and towels so you really do not need a cabin. I would spen the money on shore excursions, which is better then sitting in the cabin anyway. Hope I helped and happy sailing, PAUL:)
cb at sea Posted February 16, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2011 There's shade for free. Loungers are your's for the asking.... I, too, can think of alot to do with the money it would cost....not worth it, for me.
Jenbirds Posted February 17, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted February 17, 2011 Thanks everyone. As it turns out, the cabanas for our cruise are booked, which is just as well.
