1year4ever Posted February 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2011 My wife and I were in Roatan about 3 years ago. I bought a carved chest with fish and a sea turtle carved and painted on it. My question is do they still have them and what pier and store are they at? Thanks

My question is do they still have them and what pier and store are they at? Thanks Here: http://www.halukiliki.com/ It's (kind of) near the Coxen Hole pier down a dirt road. I would take a short taxi ride if you're on your own. There are probably several other places to buy them.
cruisemainiac Posted February 19, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2011 We saw some beautifully carved chests and doors in the straw market right across the street from the pier in Coxon Hole. If I had a home for one of them I would have loved the door. The will ship things home with insurance.
1year4ever Posted February 19, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted February 19, 2011 Thank's for the info every one. Roatan i think has the most unique things you can buy on a cruise. Really looking forward to being there in early may on the dream. :)

We missed it last week and a previous sailing a few weeks ago missed it as well. It's his ship and his call, but consider yourself forewarned.
