Spirit Specialty Dining Question

Just a guess here - since the lobsters that are served on lobster night in the MDR are not the same kind that are served in the specialty restaurants, I would say that the extra surcharge still applies. My understanding is that the surcharge lobster is the larger Maine lobster (the kind that most people envision when talking lobster) whereas the MDR lobsters are much smaller (don't know the species name).

Now, I suppose it's possible that you could request that your server in the specialty restaurant get you one of the MDR lobsters for you, but I don't know if they would do that. If they did, they might not charge extra for that (although I would tip well for that extra service).

What I have done on lobster night is dine early in a specialty restaurant and then gone to the MDR later (after the show) and had the lobster there, maybe with dessert after.
