Transportation out of NOLA Port

Does any one know if NCL does shuttles on disembarkation day? I've already called the hotel where I will be staying and they don't, but they suggested a taxi.

NCL provides a bus to the airport for a price which is as much as a taxi--you

must take a taxi from where you disembark or walk to to the french Quarter which would be difficult with heavy luggage--NCL does not provide shuttles to the different hotels unless it is one of the hotels booked thru NCL--fares are regulated by the city of New Orleans-- and are not cheap--from port disembarkation toFfrench Quarter about $11 for one.

Thanks for your reply BG. My hotel is out by the airport, but it would be silly to take a shuttle to the airport from NCL then catch the free one the hotel provides from there, lol. So I guess my best bet would be a taxi.

Taxi fare for one person from the port to the airport is $30 or so--but the shuttles also charge alot near the same price.
