phoenix_dream Posted March 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2011 Anyone have a good recommendation for a land tour of St. Vincent? We were going to take the oft recommended Captain Wayne's boat tour but it is already booked up with others who are better planners than we are. Don't really want the trip over to Bequia, so are considering a land tour. Leaving this Thursday, so any quick advice would be appreciated! RedsRatBstrd Posted April 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2011 Just got back from 14 day southern Carib on the Grand Princess. On St Vincent we were fortunate enough to hook up with a private taxi operator - “Killer” Desbourne. He took our family of 5 on a tour based on our interests which included a nice (if somewhat small) waterfall, black sand beach and the Pirates movie set. Earlier that same day we went on a different tour with another taxi operator mentioned elsewhere on the CC board. Of the two we much preferred “Killer”. He was personable, enthusiastic, informative and seemed to enjoy the ride as much as we did. I recommend him highly. My only regret is that we didn’t spend the whole day with him as the other fellow we toured with earlier in the day was a little dry. “Killer” Desborn 784-527-9393
