Dress code for 8-day cruises and specialty restaurants

We're booked for an 8-day cruise on the Jewel next month. The RCCL site lists the dress code info for 7-day cruises, but I'm wondering what happens on day 8. Is it another casual night, or do they add a second semi-formal night?

 

Also, I should know this because I've cruised Brilliance, but what's the dress code for Chops and the Italian specialty restaurant? Is it semi-formal or just whatever the dress code for the rest of the ship happens to be that night?

Just back from Serenade. The dress at Chops and Portofino was smart casual all nights and we were reminded of this three times. Most people dressed really nicely and we dined there three times. We preferred Portofino to Chops by a wide margin.

An 8 night cruise will have

 

2 formal

2 smart casual

4 casual

 

At least that is what my TA told me for my next cruise.
