North Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, and Aventura are cities that border each other. You can Google the addresses for each of these:

Mexican: Paquitos (163rd Street & US1 - my #1 fave)

Italian: La Romanza (163rd Street)

Thai/Japanese: Siam River (163rd Street)

Thai: Thai House II (163rd Street)

Argentinian: San Telmo (Collins Ave)

Contemporary: Kitchen 305 (inside the Newport Beach Resort - Collins Ave)

Peruvian: Inka (163rd Street)

Sports Bars: Miami Prime or NMB Ale House

Chain Restaurants (located on US1 Biscayne Blvd - North Miami Beach/Aventura):

Houstons

PF Changs

Morton's

In the Aventura Mall, there is:

Grand Luxe

Cheescake Factory

Rosario's

Paul's Bakery

... also inexpensive places like Sbarro's and there is a food court

Just north of Aventura Mall is the new Village at Gulfstream Park http://www.thevillageatgulfstreampark.com/
