FLL Hotel? When is best time to bid for on Priceline for Feb 17th?

When is best time to put bid in for pre-cruise hotel for Feb 17, 2005 in FT Lauderdale? I need 4 rooms. We wont get into Ft Lauderdale till 10:20PM that night and only need for that 1 night. Would like hotel close to port. Thinking about Amerisuites. How would I bid on Priceline to get that hotel or something similar?

I see you have been on the Dawn twice and now booked for a 3rd.
We are booked for Jan /05 on Riviera Deck. Good or Bad and any insight or things I should be aware of?

We really love this ship. Not to small, not to big......Its been a while since I have been on her. So far there are 6 couples that are going so it should be alot of fun. From what I hear she still looks like new, "I hope so anyway......"

Downtown zone is closest to the port.

If you plans are firm i'd start bidding now... but know what price "should" eventually be accepted and don't bid over that amount. Bid once every 3-4 weeks at this point as any more frequent than that will driver you nuts.

I will sail the Dawn in March, couldn't be more excited. I just bid Priceline for our pre-cruise,1 night at $60, we got. the Fort Lauderdale Sheraton Airport. They have a free shuttle from the airport, also when I phoned the hotel directly to try to switch from one king to two beds (our kids will share our room) the gentleman there was very nice. The first call I made to the hotel line was routed to someplace off site, they couldn't help me so if you find yourself in that position try to talk directly to the hotel staff. Good Luck
