silverbird Posted March 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2011 Does NCL have hotel rooms available a day ahead of your sailing date as does Princess lines? We find it easier to arrive the day before in order to avoid any cancelled or delayed flights, etc. Thank you for your answers.
goehoe Posted March 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2011 Yes, we stayed at the Marriott Wakiki Beach. It was great, and a great location. Hertz in the hotel is handy. NCL customer service agent and ship check in AT the hotel and all is done there and no lines at the ship if pre-checked at the hotel. We went three days early. MagnoliaBlossom Posted March 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2011 Yes, they have two hotels they book with. One is the Hilton Hawaiian Village. If you book there you can check in for the cruise at a desk in the lobby. They will take your luggage and provide a shuttle to the pier. The other is either the Aqua Palms or the Aqua Bamboo (I forget which). There is no check in, luggage transfer, etc here You can check NCLs website for the details however be aware that the prices are per person. You can get a much cheaper deal by booking on your own unless you just like the turnkey approach. We booked on the Aqua hotels site and got a special at the Palms for a Diamondhead view for $98/night. The diamond head view also includes free breakfast at IHOP next door. They have a variety of specials and with this one you do have to pay in full in advance, but it is fully refundable up to 72 hours in advance. If you go to the Hawaii board you will find lots of recommendations.
