Breakfast options for early arrival in Tahiti

from tripadvisor:

Cafe at airport. When you leave customs go to your right, you will come upon the cafe.

For a decent breakfast I would head directly into town, le Retro (centre Vaima) is open per 6 am (you'd need time to get thru immigration etc anyways) and is near the cruiseship dock. The snack at the airport has horrible coffée and serves only croissants etc not real breakfast.

There's another one serving breakfast, Café des Négociants, nearby, quartier du commerce... open 5h30

You will getr breakfest on the plane.

Yes, Air Tahiti Nui will have breakfast for you and that will at least be something. I actually brought some snacks with me in my carry-on bag and then just bought a drink in the AP to hold me over (sticker shock at the prices in the AP). I know some that were going to the IC to stay a night before the cruise like I did and they had a big breakfast buffet there but be warned it is pricey, over $70 for 2. I had some local currency with me so I was ready to buy a drink or whatever at the AP and a little store about 3/4 mile walk from the IC.
