door alarms

so i bought some of those door alarms at the dollar store today..

 

has anyone ever used them? do they work? do they stick on the wall/door for the week?

 

we will be in the cabin with our kids but wanted to be safe.

Sorry. Never used them; so, I can't say how effective they are, but this will bump it back to the top.

If you're IN the cabin with your kids, you really won't need alarms....the cabins are so small, if you can't get to the child before they drag that heavy door open, then there really is a problem!

Some do use them when they have connecting cabins and are more than a couple feet away from the other cabin's door.
