OV GTY became Handicap Room on Eurodam

We just got our cabin assignment for our E GTY -- Room C1082. I realized that it would be a gamble when we booked the guarantee, but probably this is the last location I would have had in mind as a possibility. The cabin appears to be surrounded by the potential for noise, with elevators and public restrooms just outside the door. Add to that the fact that it is a HC room, and I have already envisioned all kinds of issues.

Am I right in understanding that the table and sofa in the handicap rooms on are removed, or is that in specific class of ships? Would it be reasonable to ask for a table to be placed in the room during our stay? We like to order room service breakfast in the morning. I have seen a few pictures of the bathrooms, and know that people have mixed feelings about them. I am hoping I can wait until I experience it to pass judgement, but I am trying to find a silver lining.
